We’re a small but mighty print team based in Carlisle, Cumbria. Every card is professionally printed in-house on premium triple-coated stock and sent in protective hard-backed envelopes, so your designs always look their best when they land on someone’s doorstep.
You Said It Marketplace gives independent designers a simple way to sell greeting cards without holding stock or fulfilling orders. Upload your designs and we take care of the printing, packing and dispatch whenever a customer orders through You Said It or selected online marketplaces.
Independent Designers First
Your designs stay yours, with no exclusivity required. You’re free to sell your work elsewhere while also making it available through You Said It.
Printed With Care
We print in-house on FSC-certified card stock, use compostable packaging and work to make our production as responsible as possible.

Does it cost anything to join?
No. It is free to open a designer account and upload designs.
Do I need to print or post anything myself?
No. We take care of the printing, packing and dispatch whenever one of your cards is ordered, so you don't need to hold stock or fulfil orders yourself.
Where can my designs be sold?
You choose the available sales channels for your designs. They can be sold on yousaidit.co.uk and, where eligible and opted in, through channels such as Amazon, eBay and the You Said It Wholesale site.
How much commission do I earn?
We currently pay 30p per card sold through yousaidit.co.uk and selected external marketplaces. Wholesale sales earn 10p per card. Wholesale orders have a minimum of six of each design, so a six-card Wholesale sale would earn 60p commission.
Do I keep the copyright to my designs?
Yes. You retain ownership and copyright of your artwork. By uploading your designs, you allow You Said It to print and sell them through the sales channels you choose. There’s no exclusivity, so you’re free to sell your designs elsewhere too.
When do I get paid?
Payments are made through PayPal on the first working day of the month once your unpaid commission balance has reached the £5 minimum payout threshold.
How do I know when a design has sold?
Your Marketplace dashboard shows the design sold, the sale date, the marketplace it sold through, and your paid and unpaid commission totals.
How many designs can I upload?
New designer accounts start with an upload allowance. Once you reach your current limit, you can request more space from your dashboard as your catalogue develops.
What artwork format do I need?
Marketplace currently accepts JPG and PNG artwork. Square card artwork should be prepared at 156mm x 154mm including bleed, at 300dpi. Templates are available from the upload area of your dashboard.
