How to Upload a Standard Card
Follow the steps below to upload a standard card correctly to the You Said It dashboard. Standard cards only need one artwork file, but it is still important to check the bleed area and complete your card details carefully before submitting.
Artwork needed
You only need one front artwork file for a standard card.
File types
Upload your design as a JPG or PNG, exported at 300 DPI.
Important check
Keep all important text and design elements away from the red bleed area.
Step-by-step guide
Prepare your artwork
For standard cards, you only need to upload one image file. This can be a JPG or PNG.
- If exporting as JPG, design in CMYK and export in RGB at 300 DPI.
- If exporting as PNG, make sure it is also exported at 300 DPI.
- Before uploading, check your artwork is the correct size and looks sharp when viewed at full size.
Select the standard card option
Once your artwork is ready, go to your dashboard and choose the Standard Card option to begin the upload process.
Upload your artwork and check the bleed area
After uploading your design, check the preview carefully. Make sure no important details are in or too close to the red area.
- The red area is the bleed area and will be trimmed during production.
- Only background colours or background images should extend into this area.
- Keep text, logos, faces, and key design details safely inside the main visible area.
Click next and add your card details
Once you are happy with the artwork preview, click Next and complete the card details in the same way you would for your other card uploads.
